Quiet Time
Sample scripture:
Luke 10:38-42  Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her
house.  39  And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching.  40  But Martha was
distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve
alone? Tell her then to help me."  41  But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many
things,  42  but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her."

Sample  Answer:
Three Characters are here One is Jesus, and the other two Mary and Martha. Mary want to take time to listen to Jesus and
Martha was worried about the serving and thought Mary should be helping. Jesus rebukes Martha and tells her she is “anxious
and troubled about many things.” Fact is Mary had chosen wisely by taking time to hear what the Lord had to say. So often we
do not take time like Martha and we get busy about doing and not enough time about spending time with Jesus one on one. We
need to read His word and study so we can be a more effective witness. Martha would have had less anxiety and troubles if she
had chosen to listen to Jesus.
