Month Of September 2020: Don't Let Jesus Pass You By Or You Will Have No Hope
by Christina Farris 9/01/2020
As time is passing so quick we are now over 7 months into a pandemic, and yet there been other cases recorded in history, and we have followed history procedures of quarantine to the best of our abilities as a nation. How many people got saved during this pandemic the number is unknown. There is a point as a person ages it easier and easier to ignore the wooing of God's Spirit. It easy to say do I need to be saved here and now, why can I not wait, after all I am getting old, and if I survived all these years I might survive a little longer without Jesus and can put it off until it time to meet my maker. No the time is now,
The time is now, not next week, not next year and not hoping you can confess all your sins and mistakes at once, so you feel it is a done deal. That not how God works. He can stop calling your name? He can harden your heart to the point you do not believe, and thirdly you could die before you change to choose his way and there is no second chance when you get to throne of God who will judge your very soul.
God sent his Son to die for all your sins, past, present and future sin, but we still repent even after salvation, for purging of the filth of this world from us. The world might be beckoning but God's Spirit is the one that propels us toward the Father and to Christ Jesus, for decision of faith. Basicly don't worry about mistakes that may come, because of your humanity they will come. I serve a God that forgives and loves us as we are, despite our mistakes. I do not need to know what you done, God knows, and I know he is able to forgive. Receive Christ today. Call on Jesus today, Read the How to be saved page, button at the top of the page for verses and a prayer that explains it all.
August's Prayer List
by Christina Farris 8/01/2020Pray for our elderly, I know it seems like we pray a lot for them this year already, but they need our prayers as they endure the loneliness that comes from isolation from the pandemic. Pray for those dealing with loss of love ones, and isolation from family and friends on a continual bases. Fall approaching and many of us have stretch our legs and even driven our vehicles to fight the isolation of pandemic. Many people are stillworking through the fears of going to their jobs and careers wondering if their workplace will be next hit and will it effect their families too. Let us not forget that love conquers fear, but fear is a reality for many, and pray they will know the eternal hope of Christ Jesus can bring. There is security knowing Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray for our leaders in our nation for this time of continual struggle. It easy to put our guard down and we can not quite yet remove these mask.
