Are You Standing In Hot Coals?
Lesson Nineteen: by turtle

Each lesson seems to get harder and harder to type. This week is no exception. However what does the Bible say about angels. It seems a lot
of people like to study angels and even some like to worship angels in the spiritual sense. Yet even angels of God will tell you not to worship
them, but to worship God. Take a look at this passage will you.

Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
(8)  And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which
shewed me these things.
(9)  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the
sayings of this book: worship God.

Revelation 19:10 KJV
(10)  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the
testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

An angel witnessed to John the vision in these two chapters. Each time John is overwhelmed is the impression I get and goes to fall at the feet
of the angel before him showing all these things and Yet John was rebuked and told not to worship the angel by the angel. There are many
groups out there today that worship angels. There is a difference in praying to a saint and reading or reciting a pray of the saints. For example
a person reciting or repeating a prayer of a minister is not worshipping the minister. Praying literally to a saint or to angel is worshipping a
false god.

Christ even rebukes Satan concerning the worship of others. Satan had required Jesus to bow to Him. Anyone requiring you to bow to them
in honor is not of God.

Matthew 4:10 KJV
(10)  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

It government rules through out the world people bow to kings and queens of many nations. Americans do not bow to their leaders. If they
disagree with them they have the freedom to do so. Only a leader that gets to big for their britches thinks otherwise. I bow to no man, not
even my husband. I might serve my husband or serve someone, but i do not bow to their leadership. I seen many a good men and woman in
ministry that have allowed the power of God to ruin their ability to be human. In other words they seen the wonders and works God did at
their hand and instead of worshipping God said, ”look who I am.” Many people lift up people ministries and their good works. This is
dangerous. We all are in the same boat if we are saved. No one is better then another. The only difference between saved and unsaved is one
has repented of their sins and another has not, as well as one believes in Jesus as Lord and Savior and one does not.

One has to way the truth of this matter carefully. Is it wrong to recognize someone good works. I think not, but it is when one looks at these
people as being the only one’s capable. However in the church world one must recognize you do not put a devil behind the pulpit. If you do it
will go to their heads. I have no respect for people that bow to a ministers every whim. However if you get behind a minister for the sake of
helping in the spreading of the gospel is a different thing. And pushing them forward to help share the love of Jesus so people will know
Christ is a wonderful thing. If the purpose is to share the love of Jesus then that is what one ought to be doing. If it is about green backs will
you then better regroup, you are in the wrong place. It takes money to run certain types of ministry, but it takes volunteers willing to share
the gospel to help it run. A ministry team is much better then going solo. However sometimes you land up going solo, when no one is willing
to help. Beware my friends, do not worship angels.
