Why Miracles Happen?

Lesson Thirteen: by turtle
Mark 7:31-37 KJV (31) And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis. (32) And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. (33) And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue; (34) And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. (35) And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. (36) And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it; (37) And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Police working on a case often find people that wish to talk but can not. They are hindered by something. Yet when the problem is removed free speech begins. To the police they must learn to be aware of those that wish to speak and those that are not able to speak. The man with the deafness in his ears was able to speak but not clearly. Not clearly because of his hearing loss most probably. So when Jesus put his fingers in his ears he was able to hear and able to speak normally. Sometimes that all it takes for us to gain our voices is to have a miracle in our life take place. Then our tongues are loosen and we began to praise the Lord. We begin to glorify his name for all that He is doing in our life. I know in my own life, my witness became loud and bold because of the miracle healing. God took pain from my body I had had for years. I could not speak of God goodness with boldness because I was stifled by illness. It was the thing in my life that caused me not to feel I could speak, and it it should of been the time I was rejoicing more. Learning to praise the Lord in the good times and bad times is hard for a Christian. It is not easy to always share the love of the Lord when going through a crisis. Yet with the Power of the Holy Spirit we can speak the words of love to all anytime or season in our life, but we must rely on Him.
The deaf man was set free to speak freely, are you able to speak freely or are you stifled by circumstances. Are you at a place you need Christ in your heart. Just receive his gift of salvation today. It is for all of us. No one will be forgotten that is sincere. Jesus is Lord, is he your Lord today? Ask Him to be your Lord today. Ask for forgiveness and He will save you from your sins.
