| Why Miracles Happen? |
| Lesson Four: by turtle Mark 3:1-6 KJV (1) And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. (2) And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. (3) And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. (4) And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. (5) And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. (6) And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. I often wonder why people would be upset if Jesus wanted to heal someone. Yet often the Pharisees were upset at everything Christ did. They were upset because it was breaking down there pocketbooks. It was breaking down the ability to lord over the people. Instead of being happy about the situation the Pharisees got angry. In their rage they made a plot to get rid of the one that was doing evil in their eyes. Christ was not about doing evil but about peace and love for all. Christ desire all men and women to come to Him. All one needs to do is allow their heart to become unhardened, by believing in Jesus as Lord of one’s life and choosing to obey Him. Truth is people make choices daily, make choice to live for God or live for their own comforts. I think with all the convinces of the world today it is a hard choice. I be lying if I did not say I love to be rich. I think though I rather have Jesus and salvation for my soul. How precious is Jesus to you. The healing of this Man with the whither hand shows Christ authority over sickness. Christ however was most concern about the sickness of the soul and was sadden by the Pharisees position. Christ would of love the Pharisees to repent. He would of love them to come to Him. |
