Entrapping

Exodus 21:16 KJV
(16)  And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in
his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

What is thievery of a person? It is in slavery of another human person
who entrapped into involuntary service. Into service to perform an
action that they rather not do. To sell someone out of capture of war,
or taken by kidnapping. Reuben, Judah, Levi, Simeon and the rest of
the boys of Jacob sold Joseph into slavery. Into slavery because of
jealousy of their father. One boy going back in hopes to free his
brother only to discover him gone. Sold into slavery by his own family.
Joseph own family not caring what anyone would do to him. Yet
Joseph would find forgiveness for his brothers because of his faith in
God.

Our nation built by people enslaved by traders and freed by non
traders who desire to see a people go free and not in tangled by a
yoke of bondage and abuse. No one worthy of abuse or misuse.
Human trafficking still occurs today. Placing people in bondage not
only to those that enslave, but if freed, enslaved to those that
rescued them. Why because people that are rescue usually have no
recourse, but to enslave themselves to some other form of work or
service to repay those that freed them. To pay back those that
helped.

Joseph was enslaved by the king into ruling over grain and other
things placed in his hands, because of interpretation of a dream
about a famine. Now Joseph could not go home, but had to plan on
how to prepare for what was to come not only for Egypt but
surrounding territories. There is no record of the king ever asking
Joseph of His qualification for leadership, yet he was given a signet
ring and a robe. Rags to riches, or enslavement of another kind, with
responsibility. How could Joseph had refused a king. This story is
found in Genesis.

We can not steal or take someone else life from them. Enforcing
them to do as we say. Freedom of choice to serve is something
different. To entrap to steal a person life, is robbery. Have you ever
enslaved someone. Then think again. Do not enslave why because it
is a crime worthy of death the Bible says, yet by our laws it probably
worthy of a long jail term.

Dear Heavenly Father, help to think about how we treat people, not
forcing them but giving them choice. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
