| Lesson 26: The Law Of The Old That Is Covered In the New Testament: Marriage Taught 2/17/2014 by turtle Matthew 19:1-12 KJV (1) And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; (2) And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. (3) The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? (4) And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, (5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? (6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (7) They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? (8) He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. (9) And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. (10) His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. (11) But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. (12) For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. Today is President Day, and often I find it important to honor our nations leader as well as remember the Presidents birthdays of past this month but every occasion this month seems to be hind sight for me. Perhaps it is because I understand the state of union in the spiritual since more then in the physical since. The day homosexual marriage becomes closer to the ballot the more it comes to knowledge of the state of the union to more readily to accept other sins. Jesus taught one man and one woman. Though I feel certain groups have a right to do as they please, I know that such groups are not in compliance to the laws of God. Yet God is clear about Eunuch born that way or becomes that way by choice or by law. Eunuch are the closes thing Bible has to Transvestites. To break the law of God is worthy of death. That been the rule since Adam and Eve were punished. It changed when Christ came and died for us. Paying the sin debt to His Father. The Father God receiving the provision He provided for man to have victory over sin and death, to all that would believe in Jesus. Even the devil believes and trembles. Yet the devil has no regard for God or His ways. Does mankind have regards for God’s way or only for the ways of their own ideology and plans. God never expected us to be perfect, but He did desire us to obey Him. To follow His laws, for our own protection, our nation own protection against the ways of sin and corruption. God allows corruption, allows the sin, to give man choice of who to follow. If we look to even our spiritual leaders for anti corruption, we going to fall. For even Moses gave the right to divorce. So it is with the president of these past two terms in offices he is forcing the issue of certain laws to satisfy people, maybe even he does not fully agree with it on a personal level but on a worldly level. We all make these choices. We all decides whether to allow divorce, homosexuality, married and unmarried people behind the pulpit of our churches. We take the stand of all sinned all fall short to try and justify those things not of God. Yet Jesus is the only one that can justify. He does not justify divorce and does not justify homosexuality, yet Jesus says man gave these rights. One must think long and hard what we declare is it okay or not okay. What we will allow in tolerance, how we will set people around us free from the yoke of what we understand is sin based on Bible. If we allow it in our society, then we are going to reap the effects of these things in our society. If I plant ten apple trees, I am going to reap the ability to either sell those apples in the fall or make apple butter, apple sauce, or apple pie filling. The point being, we choose what we do with what we plant. Are we by allowing sin going to reap the effects of it in our children. Our children look around and say what is wrong with this sin and we say I can not remember. Why because the word of God is slowly dying because of our sin. Our desire for freedom comes at a price, a price that is costing our nation it principals of humanity and obedience to our Creator. Let us pray for our President, and our families that we will fall in compliance to the will of God and not the will of human condition called imperfection against the will of God. Let us pray we will fall in compliance to the will of God to tolerate but to teach the principals and reason for those principals of God. That God is the only one that can truly save our nation and ourselves from decision making that is not always pleasing to God. Dear Heavenly Father let us look at those things in our nation that is not in accordance to your will and teach our children the reason why and why we do not allow certain things in our personal walk with you.
