They spoke of a time of peace of when evil would no longer exist. As long as man is being born and as long as man is in the world and unsaved their will be times of unrest and discord. Fact is all men are evil according to Genesis 6. If man is evil because of their disobedience perquisite from the beginning then hope was given from the beginning. Yet what we understand is when Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden, God put a barrier between the gates of paradise and earth. If Shiloh means tranquility or a time of peace. Israel needs to wake up for there has been no time of tranquility in Israel history since the beginning. Man wants paradise back and God will give man paradise upon repentance. Adam and Eve blamed someone else for their actions. It is our responsibility to take responsibility for our actions. God will not give peace until we take responsibility. Until confession of sin comes to God. Is Israel in power today, some say yes and some say no. As the septra left Israel hand. The law of God is still in force today. God rule still in power, until tranquility comes. Jesus is the prince of peace and when He came and taught and died and rose again the kingdom of peace had arrived and yet not all receive it. Not all receive the message of God salvation plan for man. No peace comes to the heart of man until repentance. Yet the kingdom is more then repentance it is actual place. A place that is established with the New Jerusalem. What one has to realize at the time of repentance comes, so does evil rise, for the light surround us and evil continues in our world. Yet there coming a day when there will be no more evil and that is the final judgment on earth comes to man when Christ returns. Then with evil done away with, only thing left is p_aradise and that was lost to mankind. A place of safety this world can not even begin to imagine. Hope of returning to Paradise has been a teaching of the Bible from the beginning. Even Cain understood the consequences of his actions, the separation from God. God desires to bridge that gap through Christ Jesus so paradise is coming to the believer. They are heaven bound, they admit their fault and God forgives.
