John 5:6-29 KJV
(6)  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long
time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
(7)  The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the
water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming,
another steppeth down before me.
(8)  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
(9)  And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed,
and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
(10)  The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the
sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
(11)  He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said
unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
(12)  Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee,
Take up thy bed, and walk?
(13)  And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had
conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
(14)  Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him,
Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come
unto thee.
(15)  The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which
had made him whole.
(16)  And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to
slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
(17)  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I
work.
(18)  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he
not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his
Father, making himself equal with God.
(19)  Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say
unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the
Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the
Son likewise.
(20)  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that
himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that
ye may marvel.
(21)  For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them;
even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
(22)  For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all
judgment unto the Son:
(23)  That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the
Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father
which hath sent him.
(24)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not
come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
(25)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is,
when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live.
(26)  For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the
Son to have life in himself;
(27)  And hath given him authority to execute judgment also,
because he is the Son of man.
(28)  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear his voice,
(29)  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation.

Are you made whole? How many sick people receive Christ without
physical healing. There limbs gone, back aches, or some strange
rare illness takes over their body. Yet people are still spiritually
healed despite their ailments. Others are healed physically and
spiritually upon belief.  Have we given up sinning upon receiving
Christ as Lord and Savior or are we continuing in sin. Paul tells us
to walk by the Spirit in Romans 8, but few people when just saved
truly understand about walking by the Spirit of God. It something
learned by the Holy Spirit upon salvation through belief in Jesus.
God commanded us to believe to have faith in his Word. Jesus
came in the flesh so that the Word of God could be fully seen.

The man in the story upon receiving his healing went into the
temple to worship God, to show himself to the elders in accordance
with the religious law. Yet the leaders and elders understood not
who healed him. I sometimes wonder how dumb religious leaders
can be. Either they are believers or they are not. In this case it
appears they had unbelief. Yet the man was whole and they could
not tell who the author of the healing was. Today we have religious
zealots questioning healings, and one has to ask are they religious
or the antichrist. God heals today like he did back then. The
antichrist wonders and miracles are all down with fakery, not with
power from God, but power through deception. Deception being
one of the hardest things for most to grasp as not being God,
because it mimics or looks like the real deal. Yet with careful
evaluation it can and will be disproved if not over time.

God’s healing power is real. It not fake, and it last unless sin
returns in the area that caused the lack of healing in the first place.
If it reoccurs and worse should befall you, then you better repent
and turn away from the sin in your life. If you not aware of what you
were doing you better find out, before it is to late. God does not
save us to keep one sinning. God saves us to set us free from sin
and corruption in our life. No the priest knew not who healed this
man, Jesus confronts the man with his unbelief and then the priest
The man and priest then was given a warning. A warning that is for
all of God’s children that receives Jesus as Lord. This was a
warning also in the Old Testament as well as in the New Testament.
Sin in a believers life is dangerous to a believer earthly situation.
Not to their eternal security of  going to heaven. Our disobedience
to God can cost us. Those that escaped from 911 building were
they believers with their purpose not finished in life. Were those
that were suppose to be in New York but else where did they
escape by the will of God, or because of knowledge of a terrorist
attack. My question how are these people living today after
surviving. Did those that die was it their time to die, or was it sin of
disobedience that caused their injuries and even death? Do we
know the answer, the answer is no. What we do know is the devils
attack our soil on that day. Yet the battle was already being raged
in cell groups across our land and stealing even the souls of our
children.

There many that believe in God but receive not the word of God,
the devil even believes and trembles. The consequences for sin is
death, but the gift of God is eternal life with Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even the devil believes God’s word, but does not obey it or receive
it. If we all are in disbelief at one time or another, then we have to
ask ourselves how important is that cross of Jesus for eternal
salvation, very important. He promises us a home in heaven. Our
job is to obey His Spirit, to follow His word. The man that was
crippled sin was unbelief, why because he knew not who had healed
him, but that he was healed. Truth you got to decide is your healing
going to come through Jesus or are you going to try and make it on
your own. I know which path will fail, do you? God ways is best
allowing his salvation to protect you.

Dear Heavenly Father may you guide our footsteps as we
understand how important your salvation is through belief in Christ
Jesus our Lord. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
