| Consequences of Sin And Forgiveness: Lesson 23: Passing It On 01/21/2014 by turtle Matthew 28:18-20 KJV (18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Taking what you have an sharing it is learning to give what you have received. If you never learn to receive you never can learn to give. If you ever been to a food pantry you there are those that make a big deal of what they are giving you and others that give it with the understanding I been to the food shelf so take what you will need for your journey, often in the context of never taking more then you need. God’s instructions to Moses when in the wilderness was not to take more then they needed to feed each family of the daily manna from heaven. Only on the Sabbath could they collect more. If they took to much it would spoil especially on other days. So every morning Israel would fill their bowl of the daily manna from heaven, learning quickly not to take more then they needed. God does want to give the boldness of the Holy Spirit and to give it to you in abundance not in just enough food for the day but enough food for the journey of faith. A daily supply that never runs out. Jesus taught daily in the streets of Israel and surrounding areas to his disciples and others. He healed the sick and continued on down the road feeding his disciples of manna they did not always understand so they could explain it to others. If you never train your child to understand what you are saying you never will raise a child with much knowledge. Jesus took and spoke to the children of His Word. He taught them knowledge of God of things that applied to everyday situations. He taught His disciples for three years. Maybe longer to those that were cousins. It was important part of a true Israelite family to teach the word of God and how it applied to life. If we fail to teach what we understand the manna will grow stale. Jesus commanded his disciple to teach every person from all walks of life about the Father, the Son And Holy Spirit. This website meets that criteria. However there some in this world that say only tell about Jesus. Without explaining where Jesus came from, Jesus is only a good prophet. Without telling who Jesus prayed to, makes Him only a god in the since of idol worship. To tell the story from beginning to end of who God Father Son and Holy Spirit bridges the gaps that we only worship One God, that Christ was the Word of God and the Spirit of God indwells both Father and Son has one Spirit. All will kneel to Jesus all will adore Him. To tell the whole story to learn the whole story is to planted rich in the Word of God, but not until one receives it as truth will it grow in one’s heart. If you plant a seed in a heart of stone, it can not grow there, but if there is a little soil there it has a possible place of growth. God wants to change the heart of stone, so that others can see the works of God taking place in someone else’s life. No greater witness is the change that is done when a soul seeped in sin is saved. No greater joy is there to see a soul saved. A soul taken from the pit of hell. A soul changed is one that receives the Word of God and the teachings of Christ and then the gift of the Spirit. To baptize is more then just act of water dunking, but dunking with the word of God to be fully immersed by the Word of God. No matter how long you been swimming in the Word of God you still will never fully know the full extent of the Word of God and its benefits. There is something new to learn everyday. You need a meal of manna from God daily. Take only what you can use that day, for the supply is endless. Dear Heavenly Father help us to take that word forth and not only receive it ourselves but to pass it on so others too can receive the entire Word of God. In Jesus precious name, Amen. http://www.turtle30cshell.com - |
