Revelation 1:17-18 KJV
(17)  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid
his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first
and the last:
(18)  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive
for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Today I am reflection of doors and how the story of Alice and
Wonderland had a door Alice could not fit through and she
desired to see what was on the other of the tiny door. In order
to get through the door she had to drink and eat certain foods to
fit through the little door. It was not that she did not have key to
the door she could not fit through the door because she was too
tall. The March Hare was able to fit through the door but she
could not. She could kneel down and still not fit through the door.
There is a point to message we hold the keys in our hands to
eternal life and to eternal damnation. No! we hold no such key or
keys. We have no power within our selves to shut the gates of
hell or open the doors to eternal life unless we have Jesus.
Unless Jesus has been welcomed into the door of our heart. The
power we have is to keep the door close or to open to Christ.
Once the door is open it can never be closed. For once we have
one taste of the bread of life inside us, Jesus begins to do a
work in our heart.

Society wants to remove Jesus from our world. Society wants
to get rid of the Word of God. But the Word of God will always
be in existent in this world until the end of time and then heaven
and earth will pass away. This world as we know it will change.
New Jerusalem will come down and God’s people will go in out
of the gates of Jerusalem who’s doors will never be shut. There
are twelve gates, each of those twelve gates of heaven have
one key in which one can use to enter through. There is much
information about God circulating out there in the world, some
true and some false. One can not receive truth without proof.
God’s word must be true in order to receive the message of
Christ. One might examine certain aspects of God’s word and
ask can this be proven by man’s reasoning, scientific proof, or
knowledge of truth. No door is going to be open without the
Word of God being proven. Whether verbally given by God,
read through scripture, or prophetic word given out by the Spirit
of God through people, both of God and not of God, for even
the devil believes, trembles and knows the word of God.

The gates of heaven can not be open without Christ opening the
door. Yet the door that leads to eternal life is through belief in
Messiah. One will enter the throne room through knowledge of
God meet God face to face and decision of whether you
received God Word will be given. Jesus will either deny you or
receive you. Based on whether you received or rejected Him.
Simple enough right. Well to know Christ also holds the keys to
hell. Means he knows first believing not in God will keep you
outside of heaven. Believing in God gets you to the throne room.
If you standing outside those city gates once dead you going to
believe those gates are real and that there is a God, so your
first ticket in is made clear, but the gate of salvation is shut to
you, because you believed not in God before death. Then your
deeds are read off, those things you did that were good and
those things you did that were bad. Those thing you did was it
for God or were they the works of devil, disguised as works of
God. The keys to get out of heaven Christ holds as well. He
holds the keys to allow and disallow sin. Pharaoh unbelief for a
purpose. Peter denial for a purpose, Peter looking at the waves
around him for a purpose, Peter, John, Paul and Silas
disobedience to authority and kept on speaking for a purpose.
Christ paying the price to set man free, so it is with freedom
fighters of Christ going beyond the law, protected by God to set
all mankind free. What ever the disciples bind or loosen on earth
meaning allowed or not allows will set people free. The purpose
is to set the captives of hell and darkness free. This is a spiritual
fight and not an earthly fight, but it manifest itself often times in
the physical. Man may try to stop but man can not keep it quiet,
for the word of God is going forth, either by God’s power or by
the work of the devil. Devil preaches hoping to turn our churches
away from God, forgetting the power of God within the church.
It only took David to kill Goliath. Alice you can not get through
the door unless you eat the bread of life and drink from the cup
of Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the remind that Christ holds
the keys to hell as well as heaven. In Jesus precious name,
Amen.
