2 Corinthians 5:17-21 KJV (17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. (21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Why pass on the message of Christ? Many people sit in the pews on Sunday and never share the good news outside the church. One has to ask are these people saved. Saved only by the grace of Jesus if they have repented of their sins. Yet why share the gospel because we are made into a new creation, no longer subject to sin in our life, because our sin debt been paid by death and resurrection of Jesus. Our sin have been washed away and we have been reconciled to God the Father through the forgiveness of our sins. Why would you not want to pass on the greatest gift God could ever give a person. This world was the place of habitation for Adam the one who was kicked out of heaven for sin. We are no longer have that generational curse over us. The curse of being doomed to the gravitational force of Adam’s sin taking straight to hell, after all we do follow in our ancestors footsteps once born into a world of sin. Our desire is to try out the things of this world even those things that go against God. When Christ enters in He takes away our desire of sin and replaces with our desire to live in obedience to the word of God.
What greater joy is it to be able to see others come to know the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The changing power that comes when one receive Christ as Lord. The Consequences of sin Is death, and the consequences of being forgiven by God is a new life in Christ Jesus. This concludes this short series.
Dear Heavenly Father help us to be reminded of the change your brought upon salvation that we will desire to share the gospel with others. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
