The Prophecy Revealed In Matthew
Lesson Thirty-one: by Christina Farris

Today we are going to be doing just a simple comparison of verses. God’s word remains the same no Matter if God of the Old
Testament speaks or God of the New Testament speak for they are one in the same Yet we see Jesus as being the Son of God
and yet fully God by His Spirit.

People either produce good fruit or bad fruit. However God only produces good fruit. If we live by the Spirit we can not be
producing bad fruit. However it is learn submission to God that we do produce bad fruit. Meaning sometimes we do grow
rotten apples. One that do not abide in the vine of God but choose instead to entangle in the vine of evil. One can not do both.
Either a seed is planted in good soil and produces good fruit or it produces bad fruit.

Matthew 12:33 KJV
(33)  Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by
his fruit.

Proverbs 10:16-17 KJV
(16)  The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
(17)  He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

Proverbs 11:30-31 KJV
(30)  The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
(31)  Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and because of their disobedience of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, it
produced bad fruit. It produced a people of disobedience to God. However soul winners for Jesus will produce good fruit. Are
we soul winners or people made for destruction. Until we got born again we were people made for destruction.

John 3:18-21 KJV
(18)  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed
in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil.
(20)  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
(21)  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

When I was going through a rebellious time in my life, I would cuss. In fact one day I found myself cussing and God spoke to
my heart. How can I bless you if you cursing. That when the battle of words began in my heart, soul and mind and even
mouth. Sometimes it be better if we never talked, yet the truth of the matter is talking produces either good or bad fruit.

James 3:10-12 KJV
(10)  Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(11)  Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(12)  Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Matthew 12:34-37 KJV
(34)  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaketh.
(35)  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure
bringeth forth evil things.
(36)  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
(37)  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Psalms 10:4-7 KJV
(4)  The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
(5)  His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
(6)  He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
(7)  His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Learning to obey God and to seek His ways only is often to do the things of the flesh. If you do realize the wrongness of a sin
one can not know the grievous of the sin. One should not desire to know the depth of sin but the depth and love of God.

Galatians 5:16-26 KJV
(16)  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
(17)  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that
ye cannot do the things that ye would.
(18)  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
(19)  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(20)  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
(21)  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time
past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(22)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23)  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(24)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(26)  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Who is Jesus talking to in Matthew 12 32-37? The Pharisees of course. It was not unusual for Christ to speak about sin to the
Pharisees. I think the major problem is that many forget that the Pharisees are human just like them. Christ often put the
Pharisees and Sadducees in their place and truth is they do not like it. The often like their lofty positions. To such a degree that
to be told they are holding their nose to high is hypocrisy. Yet in God’s eyes it is speaking the truth. Pharisees sought a sign
from Jesus yet they would receive none. Sing was to show if Jesus had the authority to speak to them in such a manner. Jesus
is quick to point out that those who believe Jonah would be there and receive salvation on the day of Judgment because they
believe God and He was greater then Jonah.

Matthew 12:38-41 KJV
(38)  Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
(39)  But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be
given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
(40)  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in
the heart of the earth.
(41)  The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the
preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

It was not unusual for men and women to seek God through signs and wonders. Jesus had proven Himself to be teacher, a
prophet and the Messiah on more then one occasion to the Pharisees and scribes. After all Jesus had healed in the temple. Yet
with these signs the Pharisees and Scribes refused to believe. Gideon, Moses, Hezekiah and more had asked for signs and it
was given to them. Yet Jesus spoke in a riddle and gave the Pharisees a sign. He proclaimed just like Jonah the Son of Man
would spend three days in the Belly of the earth. Christ soul would descend into hell for three days. Christ death, Christ
resurrection. Christ died and rose again the third day. How much more proof did they need.

Matthew 12:42-45 KJV
(42)  The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the
uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
(43)  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
(44)  Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and
garnished.
(45)  Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there:
and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Are we seeking signs and wonders or are we seeking answers. The queen of the south will rise up and judge. Queen is never
God. A queen is never King. However there is a day coming when the church will reign with Christ on the throne and judge the
earth.

2 Timothy 2:11-12 KJV
(11)  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
(12)  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

Revelation 20:6 KJV
(6)  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

If you clean a house it gets dirty again. In fact your works as little power. In fact if you clean up a evil heart person through
chastisement then one will find that person will become more evil for the spirit of the man will war up with many of his own
kind. Yet If Christ cleans us we are clean indeed. Cleanses all our unrighteousness, through His shed blood for you and me.

Matthew 12:43-45 KJV
(43)  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
(44)  Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and
garnished.
(45)  Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there:
and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Do not try and do the cleaning pray for God to do the changing of the heart of man. We can do nothing in ourselves but make
things worse.
